The research examines how much of climate finance is directly disbursed to women by analyzing the guidelines from major climate funds, labour participation rates and multiple studies and reports. We found that climate finance in South Asia can, inadvertently, further marginalize women, increasing their vulnerability to climate impacts, if measures are not adopted by the funds.
